Ibn Taymiyyah’s Apology Letter To His Mother

This letter was written when Ibn Taymiyyah was in Egypt; he felt it was a must to stay there and teach the people the affairs of their religion; as a lot of innovation was present and dangerous beliefs; so he sought pardon from his mother for his frequent absence from her; but it was to be excused, as he was in a great Jihaad for the sake of Allah.
