Imaam Barbahaaree rahimahullaah said:
There is nothing between a servant and his being a Believer or becoming an Disbeliever except that he denies something which Allah has sent down, or he adds to or takes away from the Speech of Allah, or he denies anything which Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, has said or anything the Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam) spoke with. So fear and be dutiful to Allah.
