The foundation which the Jamaa’ah is built upon is the Companions of Muhammad ﷺ – Dawud Burbank

Imaam al-Barbahaaree rahimahullaah said,
The foundation which the Jamaa`ah is built upon is the Companions of Muhammad SAWS, may Allaah have mercy upon all of them. And they are the Ahlus-Sunnah walJamaa`ah, the People of the Sunnah and the United Body upon the Truth. So whoever does not take from them then he has gone astray and innovated, and every innovation is misguidance, and misguidance and its people will be in the Fire.
