Secrets of Wudu (Ablution)

This beautiful book explains the miraculous nature of Wudu (Ablution). The author, Dr. Magda Amer clarified how Wudu affects on the human body by experiments which have already been conducted, and mentioning that the readings showed great difference and that the human body is more balanced and efficient after performing Wudu, subhanAllah!
What really drew my attention is that the science of Reflexology – which is the application of finger pressure to certain points, to feet and hand and the massage of these points restores the balance and vitality to all the body parts due to the connection between these points and the body through unseen physiological energy channels and this massage became the best means for relieving daily stress! And this is what we, Muslims, actually do during performing Wudu for prayers! Wow! Yes, we do it at five times each day, and sometimes, more! 🙂
Prophet Mohammed – upon him be peace – advised his companions and said: “Perform the Wudu most perfectly and run water between your fingers” And this is found lately in the Chinese science of massage, known as Acupressure, which is a massage accompanied with applying pressure to certain areas or points on the body, known as therapeutic points.
The author also explains every other part of wudu and it’s secrets and effects on the body, like: Rinsing the mouth, using the siwak after each prayer, wiping the head, and all the other acts of Wudu through out the book. “O you who believe! When you rise up for prayer, wash your face, and your hands up to the elbows, and lightly rub your heads and (wash) your feet up to the ankles … ” Qur’an | Al-Ma’dah – 6 “We shall show them Our portents on the horizons and within themselves until it will be manifest unto them that it is the Truth. Doth not thy Lord suffice, since He is Witness over all things?” I really love the beautiful bounties Allah granted us that we can never show enough gratitude for.
