Ibn Abi Shaybah is the teacher of Imam Bukhari, Imam Muslim and some of the other seven Imams. Your contemporaries have praised you in these words. Salih bin Muhammad says. The greatest expert of Hadith is “Ibn al-Mudini”. The one who recognizes the mistakes in the names of the narrators is ” Yahya bin Mu’in ” and above all the Hafiz of Hadith Abu Bakr bin Abi Shiba. Abu Zareah Razi says: I have not seen any hafiz of hadith better than Abu Bakr bin Abi Shiba. Muhaddith Ibn Hibban says: Abu Bakr was a great Hafiz of Hadith. You are counted among those who wrote hadiths, participated in their compilation and editing and authored books about hadiths. He was the greatest Hafiz of the sayings of the Tabiee
